Our celebrations

Every year we organize several intercultural children's parties, and at Christmas we invite you to the Christmas party. And again and again both children and adults enjoy it. On the one hand, physical well-being is always well taken care of, and on the other hand, a varied program is offered so that our celebrations are also an unforgettable and beautiful event. Below you can convince yourself of this with the help of photos that have been compiled!

Christmas in the Kreuzeskirche (2019)

On December 26th, 2019, a church service took place in connection with a common brunch in the Kreuzeskirche in the Kreuzeskirchviertel.

We were happy that Alma from the 3rd grade, who has attended our courses since the foundation of the association, made a great contribution!

We also enjoyed the reading of the Christmas story in Arabic by our Deputy Pedagogical Director, Ms. Alkaed!

Special thanks go to Mr. Reinhard Wiesemann, who made it possible for people from different cultures, religions and other orientations to take part in this multicultural service.

Christmas party 2019

In the VielRespektZentrum there was a nice Christmas party with many volunteers - among others the Syrian Culture and Integration eV Essen is active there on a voluntary basis. There was the opportunity to have good conversations with many different people and associations.

We are pleased to be working with the VielRespektZentrum, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the great cooperation.

Children's festival in the Weststadthalle Essen (2019)

A great children and youth festival in the Weststadthalle in Essen!

It was an enchanting evening for young and old! Numerous guests enjoyed the attractions on offer, which took place both indoors and outdoors!

We would like to thank all the helpers and donors from the bottom of our hearts, without whom the festival would never have been possible!

So we all had a wonderful evening together with visitors from different cultures and religions.

Thanks a lot for this!

We would especially like to thank the wonderful team:

Mrs Hofmann - for the wonderful live music with guitar,

Mr. Schneider - for the great performance with our children who take part in the music group in the association,

Ms. Asma, our dance teacher,

Mr. Abu Yussef Tufalia - Closer,

Mrs. Al Masri for the beautifully made clothes,

Mr. Hassan (photographer),

Mrs. Al (photographer).

We thank the Weststadthalle Essen for the great cooperation.

We would also like to thank our guests of honor:

First of all, we would like to thank a very special guest - a star and a hero for us - who has improved City Nord so much and will continue to improve it. Our guest of honor made it possible for us to have our club in Rottstr. 24 and made the 3rd floor and the 1st floor available to us. At some point the association burst at the seams due to the increased number of children that we support in various areas (e.g. German, Arabic, music, dance), but there was also a lack of space for our volunteer employees. Our hero noticed the lack of space and made the entire 4th floor available to us. Our approx. 30 volunteers and teachers used to have an approx. 19 square meter room on the 3rd floor; Now you have got a staff room with over 50 square meters on the 4th floor, plus a wonderful fitted kitchen and a terrace from which you have a wonderful view of the town hall. We are therefore convinced that we now have the nicest staff room in all of Essen. Our school management Mr. Adam Different and Ms. Alkaed now finally have a wonderful headmaster's office, where the work of the school management can be carried out better. Our students, who used to have 20 to 30 children in one class, are now better divided into smaller class groups with around 15-20 students. Our approx. 250 children and 50 adults as well as our school management are now very happy to have larger and more rooms! This just got us alone Reinhard Wiesemannmade possible !!!!!! We say once again: THANK YOU VERY MUCH Reinhard Wiesemann !!!!!!!

We also thank Monika Rintelen - a wonderful, highly committed woman - as well as the following people:

Oktay Sürücü - Immigrant Association (Managing Director)

Turgay Tahtabaş

@Ali Shehatta, FDP

Clara Gsella

Renate Engel
